The map below shows you in which areas of Hilversum you need a parking permit. The areas are divided into colors:

Request a parking permit

• During the application you will see whether you will be placed on a waiting list. If this is the case, you will receive an email from us when the permit is issued. This may take a while
• If there is no waiting list for the area, the permit will be issued immediately after payment
• The parking permit is registered on license plate and is valid for 1 car
• The application for a license for a lease or company car takes a maximum of 5 working days
• If you have a parking permit, you can use the 2Park app arrange various parking actions yourself. For example Visit or cancel a visit, increase your parking balance or place multiple license plates on a permit
• Your parking permit does not allow you to park in shopping streets during the opening hours of the shops. You must then pay the normal parking rate. Outside shopping hours you can park in a shopping street with a parking permit. The store hours are: 
  • Monday to Thursday from 09.00:18.00 am to XNUMX:XNUMX pm
  • Friday from 09.00 a.m. to 21.00 p.m
  • Saturday from 09.00 a.m. to 18.00 p.m 

Terms & conditions

• You are registered at the address for which you are applying for the parking permit
• You do not have your own parking space, such as a parking space on your own property (driveway, carport) or a parking garage (garage box, parking space in the building or garage that belongs to the house/residential complex)
• The registration number of the car is in your name
• For a lease car or company car, you must enclose a copy of the lease contract and a statement from the lease company or employer. This states that you are the regular driver of this car. This is called a driver's statement
• The vehicle is no longer than 6 meters or higher than 2,40 meters

Valid for how long

• Due to the switch to a new system, your permit after application is valid until June 30, 2024. From July 2024 we will extend the parking permit indefinitely. To do this, you must (re)apply for your permit once
• In April 2024 you will receive a letter stating how you can apply for your indefinite parking permit
• If anything changes, you can adjust or cancel a parking permit† For example if you move or have a different license plate

Combination permit center

• If you live in the center, you can apply for a combination permit instead of a residents permit
• With the combination permit you can park in the Gooiland parking garage
• You can arrange a combination permit via the Digital Parking Desk
• There is a waiting list for this permit. You will receive an email from us when the permit is issued

What do you have to do

• You can apply for a parking permit via the Digital Parking Desk† You need your DigiD and registration number for this
• For a lease car or company car, you must enclose a copy of the lease contract and a statement from the lease company or employer (driver's statement).
• You pay for the permit immediately via iDeal

Request at the counter

If you do not want to apply for the permit online, you can go to the desk in the Municipal Office. You create a Appointment.

• You can only apply for the permit if the registration number of the car is in your name
• You pay at the appointment
