On June 29, 2022, the municipality of Hilversum launched a new website. Hilversum.nl is built according to the DigiToegankelijk / WCAG 2.1 guidelines. The content has been made accessible, but texts change regularly. That is why the municipality is constantly working to comply with the guidelines DigiAccessible.

The website is now being tested by the Accessibility Foundation. The website has status B.

User testing

The Municipality of Hilversum believes it is important that all our information is useful and accessible to everyone. Also information that is offered digitally. Internally, we are continuously working on improving digital accessibility. We regularly have this checked by external experts. In addition, we are in close contact with Hilversummers with a disability who, solicited and unsolicited, indicate to us what they encounter. We also test possible solutions with them.
