Expansion of paid parking
Paid parking will be expanded in stages to the outer ring. On-street parking will then only be possible against payment or with a parking permit.
Parking control with the scan car
The municipality uses the scan car to check whether parking fees have been paid. The car drives through the street and scans the license plates of parked cars in places where parking is permitted.

In the center you can park your (moped) bicycle in the racks or sheds. The covered bicycle shed is at Zeedijk 32. You will find racks on the street.

Parking large vehicle (except core shopping area)
You want to park a large vehicle or park your camping equipment for a longer period of time. You apply for permission (exemption) for this.
Applications for exemption from core shopping area
Residents and businesses in the core shopping area can apply for an entry permit to drive to their own parking space/site. Suppliers who have to drive outside the window times are also eligible for the entry permit.
Disabled Parking (GPP)
You want to apply for, adjust or cancel a disabled parking space (GPP).
Disabled parking card (GPK)
You can apply for a disabled parking card (GPK) if you cannot walk more than 6 meters at a time for more than 100 months.
Introduction of the digital disabled parking card (GPK)
Starting Monday, March 16, 2026, parking with a disabled parking permit will change in Hilversum. Want to park for free in paid parking spaces? Then you'll need to use the digital disabled parking permit (GPK) through the Parkeren Plus app.
Loading and unloading core shopping area
Outside the fixed entry times, the centre is closed off with posts. To load and unload, you need permission to drive into the area with an exemption.
