What are cookies?
Cookies are small files that are placed on a visitor's equipment by a website. For example on a computer, telephone or tablet. With cookies, information can be collected or stored about your website visit or about the use of the device.
Do websites know who I am through cookies
No definitely not! Cookies are stored in your computer's web browser and are not associated with you personally. With cookies, publishers can therefore only recognize the computer and not the user who is behind it. Legal rules for cookies
Telecommunications Act
Legal rules apply to the use of cookies. The main rules for placing cookies can be found in the Telecommunications Act (Tw) article 11.7.a. The use of functional and analytical cookies falls under the exceptions TW and this means that we do not need permission.
General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR)
We also do not require permission from the GDPR to place functional and analytical cookies. The functional cookies are used to save your settings. We do not collect any personal data with analytical cookies. This allows us to improve our website, such as the number of website visitors or the most visited pages. The use of anonymous analytical cookies is permitted under Article 6(1)(f) of the GDPR (legitimate interest). No permission is required for the use of these cookies.

You can find a lot of information about this on the internet. It is up to you to decide whether you want to use these media.
