At that time they were still playing in the Dudokpark. I also trained for football every Monday and Wednesday evening. On Saturday morning I played a match. I trained for petanque every Tuesday and Thursday evening. There were often tournaments on Friday evenings and Saturday afternoons and Sundays. I decided to quit football because I wanted to reach the top with petanque.”

De Gooiers therefore regularly host various Dutch Championships.”
