Radicalization reporting center

Are you worried about someone? You can report signs of radicalization through this hotline. This way, we can respond promptly and—in collaboration with, for example, the police, healthcare providers, or schools—take appropriate action. We treat all reports confidentially.

What do you need to know

What is radicalization

Radicalization means someone becomes increasingly isolated and develops extreme ideas. Do you see changes in behavior or statements that worry you? Please report them. The sooner we know, the better we can help.

Local reporting point

If you live in Hilversum, your concerns will be immediately forwarded to the right people through this hotline. These could include the police, emergency services, or the school. This way, we can take action quickly if necessary.

What do you have to do

When to report

You can give your name so we can discuss the matter if necessary. This allows us to act more effectively and carefully. Would you prefer to report anonymously? That's also possible, but it can sometimes make follow-up more difficult. We treat all reports confidentially.

You can report if you are concerned about, for example:

  • Someone who starts behaving differently or saying hostile things
  • Someone who spreads extreme ideas online or offline
  • Someone who tolerates less and less people who are different
