Do you care for your partner, family member, child, or friend? For example, because your partner has dementia or your child has an intellectual disability? Then you are a caregiver. The Municipality of Hilversum would like to thank you by giving something back. The €50 caregiver appreciation can be requested by both caregivers and the person receiving the care.
What do you need to know
You can apply for the appreciation until December 31, 2025. To be eligible for the caregiver appreciation, the caregiver must meet the following conditions:
- You are a caregiver or you receive caregiver care in Hilversum
- You are over 18 years old
- You provide care for at least 8 hours per week and/or for more than 3 months
Gift for caregiver between 12-18 years old
Young carers can request a gift via mantelzorggv.nl/waarderingThey will receive a digital gift voucher worth €15.
What do you have to do
You can apply for the informal care appreciation via the application form at mantelzorggv.nl/waarderingThis is possible until December 31, 2025. The person receiving informal care from you must also sign the form.
