What do you need to know

What is a caregiver

A caregiver is someone who cares for a partner, family member, friend or neighbor who is ill, getting older or has a disability. This often happens in addition to normal life, such as work or other obligations. Caregivers offer help with daily care, such as helping with housework, doing the shopping, or providing personal care. And they often go to medical appointments and provide transportation.
