If your driver's license is lost or stolen, you must notify the municipality. You make an appointment for this. You don't have to go to the police. You can also report to the RDW.
What do you have to do
- Report the missing person at the counter of the Municipal Office and request a new driver's license. You make a separate appointment for this
- You can also use a report a loss or theft to the RDW with your DigiD. Your driver's license is then immediately invalid
- Can you still find your driver's license? It is no longer valid and you must hand it in to the municipality
