Loading and unloading in the shopping area of the center is possible within fixed entry times. Within these times, no permission is required to drive into the center. Outside the fixed entry times, the center is closed with poles and you ask permission to enter the area. This is called an entry permit.

Loading and unloading outside driving hours
- Outside the fixed entry times you need an entry exemption (possibly supplemented with a parking ban exemption) for the shopping area in the center (core shopping area)
- You can request an entry permit for 1 day (temporary) or 1 year (permanent)
- Residents (core shopping area), companies or deliverers (suppliers) can apply for an entry exemption
Valid for how long
- Valid for 1 calendar year, from January 1 to December 31
- If you apply for the waiver during the year, it is valid from the time of application until December 31
- At the end of the year you will receive a letter to extend your entry exemption
- If something changes, you can apply for the entry permit again. For example, if you have a different number plate. To do this, send an e-mail to publiekszaken@hilversum.nl
What do you have to do

You need
- License plate of your vehicle
- Documents that make the application clearer, for example an overview of the number of shops / companies that are stocked, how often the stocking takes place and statement(s) about the need for access to the center outside the stated times
After your request
- Within a maximum of 5 working days you will receive an e-mail whether your temporary entry exemption (valid for 1 day) has been approved
- Within a maximum of 3 weeks you will receive an e-mail whether your fixed entry exemption (valid for 1 year) has been approved
- You can collect the entry permit from the Municipal Office. You make an appointment for this. You pay the entry waiver when you pick it up
- After you have paid, we add your license plate to the system that ensures the opening of the retractable posts
