Hilversum has 3 parking areas where you have to pay to park. These areas consist of the center, center shell and shopping streets. Different parking costs (rates) and times apply to each area, including Sundays and public holidays. NB! These have been changed as of January 1, 2024. Therefore, read the description on the parking meters carefully.

- If you have paid too much or twice, it is not possible to request a refund of the parking fee

• The parking meter indicates whether you are in a shopping street or the center
• A progressive rate applies in shopping streets and the center. This means that the hourly rate increases the longer you are parked. You cannot buy a day ticket
• You are not allowed to park in a shopping street with a parking permit during shopping hours (until 18.00 p.m.). You buy a ticket for this
Weekly, monthly or yearly ticket
If you want to park for more than a day in a parking lot with a parking meter, you can: request a weekly, monthly or annual pass.

What do you have to do

- You buy a ticket at the parking meter and place the ticket visibly under your windscreen
Pay with your phone
- You can also pay for parking with your phone. This is called call parking or mobile parking
- For this you first choose provider (provider)† There are different providers so it is important to read the conditions carefully
- You park with the car that you have registered with your provider
- Checking your parking time is done via the license plate
- You don't have to put a card under your windshield
