Environmental regulations apply to your company. These are included in the Living Environment Activities Decree (Bal) and in the Environmental Plan. The environmental rules apply to environmentally harmful activities (at companies). The Bal and the Environmental Plan also include which environmentally harmful activities companies must report. You submit the Bal and/or Environmental Plan notification 4 weeks before starting or changing an environmentally harmful activity at your company.
What do you need to know
- In the Environment counter you can read which environmental rules apply to your company and via the Permit check do you know whether you need to report it?
- You check whether you need to report, for example, at the start of a new environmentally harmful activity, changing an existing environmentally harmful activity or installing a fuel tank.
- You report 4 weeks before starting or changing an environmentally harmful activity

- You report it via Environment counter. You will need your DigiD or eHerkenning for this
- You go through the questions and add the requested documents
- Send the notification. Your report will be automatically forwarded to the municipality
- The municipality will inform you about the treatment within 2 weeks
What does it cost
A report of environmentally harmful activity is free.
