To find out whether a sewer blockage is on your own property or in the municipal property, look in your connection pit.
The manhole is usually located behind the boundary, approximately 50 centimeters on your own property and approximately 50 centimeters below ground level. The exact location of the manhole is indicated on your home's building plans. The municipality can also tell you this if necessary. You can call the Public Space Department at 14 035.

There is water in the connection pit
The blockage is in the municipal sewer. You report this to the municipality.
No water in the connection pit
The blockage is on your own property. You can then fix the blockage yourself or call in a company. You pay for this yourself.
