Pests on municipal land
You must report vermin on municipal land to the municipality if you are experiencing nuisance from:
- Rats
- Wasps or the Asian hornet
- dead animals
- Oak processionary caterpillar
Pests on your own property
- If you suffer from vermin on your own property, do not report this to the municipality
- You ensure that the pests are removed yourself
- Don't do it yourself. You need to engage a company
- If this company sees that the nuisance is in a larger part of the street, the company will contact the municipality
Appearance
- Keep the area around your home clean
- Make sure there is no food to be found
- Close holes in the facade or in your terrace
- Use well-sealing containers for your household waste
- Provide good sewage
