The annual budget debate is the opportunity for council groups to submit amendments. The groups submitted no fewer than 34 motions and amendments. The tax regulations are part of the budget, and this proposal was also adopted by 26 votes to 10.
Petition
Before the meeting, a petition was presented to the council chair by Mr. Van Wijk of Camping De Fransche Kamp. Mr. Van Wijk spoke on November 5th about the 2026 tourist tax regulations. A broad representation of the council was present.
Appointments
Mr. Blokland (Labour Party), Mr. Vogels (OpStand), and Mr. Chevreux Henry (Hart voor Hilversum) have been appointed as committee members. Mr. Vogels has also been nominated as a member of the ARC (Architectural Council for the Environment), replacing Mr. Lahaise.
