You are going to perform an activity that makes a lot of noise. For example, advertising through a loudspeaker or swiping after an event. You need an exemption for this. This is a permission to perform a certain activity.
What do you need to know
It may be that the activity you are going to perform makes a lot of noise. Then the following rules apply:
- You adhere to the sound rules of the General local regulation of Hilversum. This means that you ensure that there is no noise nuisance for local residents or for the (living) environment
- If you still expect noise nuisance, you can apply for an exemption
- To limit nuisance, the municipality can add extra rules to the exemption
What do you have to do
- You can apply for the noise nuisance exemption online. You need your DigiD or eHerkenning for this
- You request an exemption at least 10 working days in advance
After your request
- You will hear within 10 working days whether you will receive the exemption
- The exemption will be published in the newspaper
- After this you can object for 6 weeks
- You can already start the activity

- Applying for an exemption costs € 41,40
- You also pay these costs if the exemption is not granted or if you stop the application
