You are looking for a place to meet Hilversummers and be active. This can be done at community centres, day activities or day care. Community centres are a place for everyone who wants to participate in activities, meet new people, or just drop by for a cup of coffee. Day activities and day care are there for residents who need some extra guidance. On this page you can read what suits you best.
What do you need to know
Activities are offered in various forms. Without or with supervision. The activities usually take place during the day and in a group. There are 3 types of activities:
- Community centre activities: Activities you can attend without an indication or registration. There is no professional supervision.
- Day activities (without indication): Activities with professional guidance. Usually you have to register for this and you do not need an indication
- Day care (with indication): For people who need guidance, a Wmo or Wlz indication is required. You can apply for a Wmo indication via the Social Square from the municipality. You can apply for a Wlz indication via the health care office
What do you have to do
- HilverCare, Versa Wellbeing, a community center and the library offer you community center activities. You can often go there right away

What does it cost
- Community center activities: Many activities are free. Sometimes you pay a small contribution
- Day activities (without indication): Many activities are free. Sometimes you pay a small contribution for a meal
- Day care (with Wmo indication): For Wmo day care you usually pay a personal contribution of up to €21 per month per household. This amount is calculated and debited by the CAK
