The municipality has had many questions about the high groundwaterBy responding to reports about public space and on our website we inform residents about the high groundwater. We tell them what they can do to reduce the risk of damage and nuisance. Information meetings were also held in the autumn of 2024 where we shared knowledge and answered questions.

Liebergen
In the meantime, we have held an Information Meeting on Groundwater for residents of Liebergen and the surrounding area in Hilversum-Oost on September 19, 2024. During this evening we discussed the cause of the groundwater nuisance and entered into discussions with the residents.
Present at the meeting were:
- Alderman Floris Voorink of the municipality of Hilversum
- Water Board Amstel, Gooi and Vecht
- Goois Nature Reserve Foundation
- Aveco de Bondt (independent consultancy and engineering firm)

Southeast
On November 19, 2024, the municipality held a similar information meeting for residents of neighborhoods in Hilversum Southeast from which the municipality had received complaints. You can request the presentation and the final report of the meeting via grondwater@hilversum.nl.
