Introduction
I am Regie Redmeijer, 53 years young, mother of a son and daughter and grandmother of 2 beautiful grandsons. I am always myself, have no hidden agendas and am at the service of the residents. Open, honest, reliable and focused on cooperation. I like to be outside in the neighborhoods and districts. I have an opinion about everything, but will always do my best not to judge people. I approach everyone with a listening ear. I am a volunteer, caring for my fellow man and have many hobbies. As a council member, I do my best to look broadly at the wishes of residents to make our Hilversum more beautiful, more pleasant and better, while preserving the character of the district and neighborhood. As a resident of the Hilversumse Meent, I ensure that this district is not forgotten either.
Motivation
I am proud to represent residents. Not everyone has the need and time to talk and think about everything for themselves. I like to make time for that. I am from Hart voor Hilversum because I like the local view and can then focus better on Hilversum. I am pragmatic and down-to-earth and I also stand for the human dimension. Last period I worked hard on the housing file and I would like to continue with this in the coming period and also see things realized, such as flexible living on the circus site and better use of empty bricks and unused space. Also the introduction of district and neighborhood-oriented work. What fits in a neighborhood, what is needed there according to the residents, what care, what facilities, is there enough greenery, can anyone who wants to participate in Hilversum, can you be who you are? Working together with the region, with each other as the board of Hilversum and with our residents. I like to invest my time, energy and brainpower in that.
