Paying municipal taxes

Pay your taxes by transferring yourself, by transferring automatically in 8 parts or by agreeing a payment arrangement with us.

What do you need to know

  • Every year every household receives a tax bill. This states which municipal taxes you must pay. It depends on your situation which taxes are on the assessment notice
  • You pay the tax within 3 months after the date of the assessment notice
  • You can also pay in instalments (direct debit)
  • On the assessment notice you can see which amount and on which date the amount will be debited from your account
  • If you cannot pay on time, you can request a payment arrangement

Pay in parts

  • Payment is made by automatic debit in 8 parts
  • If you've previously authorized direct debit, you don't need to do anything
  • On the assessment notice you can see which amount and on which date the amount will be debited from your account
  • You arrange the activation and deactivation of payment in parts via the Digital Tax Desk† You need your DigiD or eHerkenning for this
  • You can also change your bank account number in the Digital Tax Desk.
