What do you need to know
- Please contact us first before filing an objection. You can discuss your doubts or questions directly with the appraiser
- If your WOZ value is too high, we will adjust this for you immediately after the conversation
- If you do not agree with the WOZ value after contacting the appraiser, you can file an objection. You do not need an agency for this
- You object within 6 weeks of the date on your assessment notice
- If you need help with your objection, we are happy to help you
- The letter that you write or complete online via the Digital Tax Desk is called a notice of objection
- Clearly state in the notice of objection why you do not agree with the assessment(s)
- If you object, you must pay the assessment
- You can request a payment extension for this
- You can put this on the objection letter
- You can only get a deferment for the amount you object to.
- If your objection is correct, we will refund the overpaid amount
Advantages of filing a direct objection with the municipality
It seems convenient to hire an agency to file an objection. But you can also easily file an objection yourself. If you need help with this, we will be happy to help you. Advantages of filing an objection via the municipality:
- Fast handling and equal treatment: Every objection is carefully assessed according to the same rules. Because there is no agency in between, your objection is handled faster
- Easy and free: You can submit your objection easily and free of charge online, by letter, or via the contact form. We are happy to help if you need assistance.
- Lower costs for everyone: At no cure no pay-offices the municipality must pay extra costs. These costs are ultimately borne by all residents through municipal taxes
The video below explains why it is more beneficial to contact us directly.
