Paying municipal taxes

Pay your taxes by transferring yourself, by transferring automatically in 8 parts or by agreeing a payment arrangement with us.

If you have a low income, you may have to pay less or no municipal tax.

The municipality determines the WOZ value of your home or building. You can view the WOZ value online.

You do not agree with the amount of municipal taxes. You can object.

You pay waste levy for the collection and processing of household waste. The GAD collects household waste in Hilversum.

As of January 1, 2023, no dog tax will be levied.

Tax for the use of the municipal sewer.

You pay precario tax if you place objects on, under or above municipal land.

You have a house, piece of land or a commercial building such as a shop or office. You then pay property tax (OZB) every year.
